We started MeetBrilliance because we kept running into the same problem.
A mate would get engaged—or, more often, a mate and his partner would decide it was time—and suddenly they'd be thrust into this weird, old-fashioned world of engagement rings. A world built around "His and Hers." Around the man buying and the woman wearing. Around scripts that were written long before any of us were born.
And if you're a gay couple? A lesbian couple? Two people who just don't fit into that box?
Good luck.
You'd walk into a jewellery store and they'd try to squeeze you into the same mould anyway. This one's for the bride. This one's for the groom. Never mind that you're two grooms. Never mind that she would never wear something that delicate. The system wasn't built for you.
So we built our own.
Why Moissanite?
Because it has its own story.
It was first discovered in a meteor crater. Literally—it came from the stars. It's more brilliant than diamond (higher refractive index, if you want to get technical). And because it's created in a lab, no one had to dig a hole in the earth to find it.
It's not a "diamond alternative." It's its own thing.

The Same Seed Collection
We're proudest of this.
Most rings are made with stones pulled from different batches. They might look similar, but they're not truly connected.
We thought: why not cut both centre stones from the exact same crystal?
Same clarity. Same colour. Same fire. Two independent stones—each complete on its own—but from the same origin.
We call it The Same Seed Collection. Our couples call it "the only way it could be."
